Spectrum Management Consultancy
Ida-Gaye Warburton, the Principal Consultant, is an attorney with over 14 years’ experience particularly in telecommunications law, regulatory affairs, and contracts. She has served as the Director of Legal Affairs for Jamaica’s telecoms regulator, Spectrum Management Authority. Ida-Gaye has also represented Jamaica and the Caribbean as a member of the International Telecommunication Satellite Organization (ITSO) Advisory Committee, where she served as both Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
These services are available to clients in both the public and private sector which require a cross-disciplinary team that understands business, technology operations and regulatory matters, and their interrelationships. The goal is to provide unbiased, independent advice and impactful solutions.
Ida-Gaye has experience in the following areas:
Development of a Spectrum Cap Policy,
Development and implementation of an Open Data Program specific to spectrum holdings,
Preparation of Information Memorandums,
Preparation of Auction Rules,
Preparation of Public Consultation Documents,
Development of recommendations to inform ICT legislation,
Development of policy recommendations to facilitate policy decisions by government.
